St. John de Brébeuf was a Jesuit missionary in the 17th century to the Canadian natives (North America) and savage people who were completely in the dark, totally without God, who were idolatrous, superstitious, steeped in all kinds of immorality. As he was living with them to try to learn their languages and convert them and bring them to Christ there was an interesting occurrence in April of 1635. |
